About The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe in Jesus.

We have found Him to be Faithful and True. (We capitalize the words Faithful and True because those are proper names for Christ. He has many awesome names and titles.)

We believe His words as they are found in the Holy Bible.

We believe this, and so much more about Jesus. Everything the Bible says about Him is historically factual and correct.

He was present in the creation of the universe. The Bible tells us that Jesus actually is the Creator. He came to His own creation as a baby, being born of a virgin, as was predicted in the Old Testament years before it happened. He lived a perfect, sinless life, doing good and preaching about the Kingdom of God. The authorities and religious leaders of the time did not like His preaching and miracles, so they crucified Him. But God had a plan in all this long before it ever happened. Jesus knew all about you and your need for forgiveness. He knows you have sinned against God and against others. He was crucified, yes, but He rose from the dead after being buried for three days.

Whatever good thing that you need in your life, Jesus can supply it.

Do you believe in Him?

Jesus says this about believing in Him:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” (John 6:47)

But what is it that must you believe about Him? Listen to this:

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

Would you like to trust the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? Then do what the above Bible verse tells you to do:

  • Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus
  • Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead

We could write out a prayer for you, but it would be better if you simply prayed in your own words and talked to God from your heart. He’s God! He totally understands you.

If you need spiritual help, or if you have questions about anything here or on our website, contact us.

This is where the importance of a local church comes in. We all need people around us to listen to us, guide us, and encourage us to do what is right. This is especially true when it comes to living the Christian life. We also need instruction, correction, and wisdom. We get this from the teaching and preaching of God’s Word, the Bible.

If you have a Bible, read it every single day. If you do not know where to start, read the book of John, then the book of Romans. Keep a notebook nearby and write down questions, thoughts, ideas and prayers. Get ready for the greatest adventure ever—you and Jesus spending time together. That is what having a personal relationship with God is all about.

There is so much more to tell! We as a church are more than willing to listen and learn your thoughts, questions and concerns. Just call, write or visit. We look forward to getting to know you.
