Fall Revival October 1 – 4

Antioch Missionary Baptist Church

Let’s forget about all the traditional definitions of revival. Let’s see what happens if you and I do this:

Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength, and love thy neighbor as thyself.

These are Christ’s exact words as found in the Bible. The reference is Mark 12:30-31.

Please come, and invite other to come as we consider afresh God’s instructions for His people.

Kids Easter Egg Hunt at Antioch this Sunday!

You are cordially invited to Antioch’s Egg Hunt.

Sunday April 9
Immediately after the 11:00 am service
A light lunch will also be provided to give you energy to keep up with your young children!

Just so you know, we don’t believe in the Easter Bunny. We believe in Jesus. We teach hundreds of children every year about the Only Begotten Son of God and how He rose from the dead. Jesus saves! We are extremely privileged to have seen God work in families’ lives at here at Antioch. Men and women, boys and girls are believing in Jesus and following Him in believer’s baptism, a good number already this year.

So, why does Antioch do an Easter Egg Hunt, anyway?

  1. To do something fun!
  2. To do something fun for families.
  3. To do something fun for families with small children in our area.
  4. To do something fun for families with small children in our area in our area—that may not know Christ.
  5. To do something fun for families with small children in our area in our area—that may not know Christ—so that we can to get to know them.
  6. To do something fun for families in our area—that may not know Christ—so that we can to get to know them, and show them the love of God.
  7. To do something fun for families in our area—that may not know Christ—so that we can to get to know them, and show them the love of God, and allow them to meet the families of our church.
  8. To do something fun for families in our area—that may not know Christ—so that we can to get to know them, and show them the love of God, and allow them to meet the families of our church so that each and every member of Antioch might be used of God.
  9. To do something fun for families in our area—that may not know Christ—so that we can to get to know them, and show them the love of God, and allow them to meet the families of our church so that each and every member of Antioch might be used of God to reach others in our community with the Good News that Jesus is Risen from the dead.
  10. To do something fun for families in our area—that may not know Christ—so that we can to get to know them, and show them the love of God, and allow them to meet the families of our church so that each and every member of Antioch might be used of God to reach others in our community with the Good News that Jesus is Risen from the dead, and that many through this outreach would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior!

Run-on sentence? We can’t help it! We’re too excited about what God is doing here at Antioch for us to watch our grammar.

We invite you to come and be a part of what God is doing at Antioch!

3 Reasons to Bring Your Family to Antioch This Easter

Join Us Easter Sunday
April 16, 2017

Bible Classes for Adults and Children at 10:00 am
Sunday Worship at 11:00 am

  1. We believe Jesus really rose from the dead. This affects, or should affect, everything we do! Since Jesus is really alive, we want our worship to be alive. We want to be welcoming to everyone in a respectful and non-judgemental way because Christ is alive and we long to please Him. If you believe He’s alive, worshipping Him would be a great reason to come to Antioch!
  2. We preach the gospel. The gospel is the good news of Jesus. God loves us so much that He sent Jesus to earth to save us from our sin. He died on the cross for you and for me. He was buried, and three days later He rose from the grave. That’s what we celebrate at Easter. Jesus Christ is alive, and we want to do our best to serve Him and care for others. We want to live right—not in order to get to heaven—but because He has already saved us that believe. Do you want to know Christ, check this out, or call us. Maybe you are saved, but want to make sure your family hears the gospel preached this Easter. This is another excellent reason to come to Antioch!
  3. We see God at work in our church. We have programs for teens, young children and all kinds of activities. We support missionaries and try to be a blessing in our own community. But what really excites us is not what we are doing, it is what God is doing! That is another great reason to come to Antioch this Easter—to see the Risen Savior at work in His church!

Of course, there are more than these three reasons we’d like to invite you to spend Easter with us. Come and see for yourself what God is doing at Antioch. If you do not have a church home, come and celebrate Easter with us.

We would be honored to meet you and have your family worship the risen Savior with us this Easter Sunday.
